The Avengers - The one with the coin
It was a calm afternoon. The whole day was very calm, with no sudden disasters, no briefings, no rough trainings.. Just calm. Too calm. When it was calm in the Tower, some people were getting stupid ideas out of boredom..
Steve was up on his and Tony's floor, relaxing on the couch. Such peaceful days were welcomed, and he decided to spend it with a book, lazily swaying his legs in the air, as he was splayed on the couch, wrapped in the story.
"I tell you, it's not possible!"
"And I tell you, it IS possible!"
Steve slightly turned to the back, hearing two raised voices. He saw Tony and Clint emerging out of the elevator, vividly arguing ov

"No, don't go in there, don't go in there.. AAAGHHHH!!!"
Clint's scream echoed through the Avenger's common room, when the blonde girl entered the room with the murder hiding, and waiting for his big boobed, but small brain, victim. How come that people in the horror movies never listen?!
Natasha chuckled, letting her boyfriend hide into her, as Clint was sandwiched between her and Bruce on the couch. "There, it's okay now.. For you, that girl is dead," Natasha offered sympathetically, petting archer's back. She glanced up and her eyes met with Bruce's. "Told you. You owe me two bucks, honey."
Bruce snickered and nodded - Natasha won fair

Tony breathed softly and deeply. He was in a warm bed, snuggled under the covers, feeling Steve's heat radiating on him. It was nice and soothing and he loved mornings like this - slowly waking up to his husband and good morning cuddles.
But not today.
His eyelids were heavy and he was still slightly dizzy. His skin soaked with the smell of alcohol, and even if he brushed his teeth thoroughly (truthfully, Steve did it, it was not a new situation that when Tony was too tired or stunned with alcohol, Steve helped him in the bathroom) he had a terrible, dry aftertaste in his mouth. Like if he chewed an old sneaker.
How much did he drink last

"Oh God.."
"We are not gonna make it!"
"This is too hard!!"
"We are going to die here!!"
"Guys, shut up, okay?!"
Steve snapped impatiently, watching his idiot boyfriend and his idiot archer friend, so basically two main idiots of the team, trying to squeeze an obviously too big Christmas tree into the elevator to transport it to the Avengers main floor. Somehow, no one wanted to use the emergency stairs, because really, who would want to walk so many floors up?
"Easy for you to say, you're not the one with needles poking your eyes out!" Clint snapped back, pushing on the tree from the front. If he had to do some dirty job, he would at l

"A charity gala took place this week at New York City Hall. Our local team of superheroes took part in the gala, surprising everyone with their new look.."
"It's on, it's ooooon!!" Clint bounced in his nest made from pillows, squeaking cheerfully.
"We know, Clint, we are in the same room!" Tony called, impatiently, Clint's excited bird noises drowning out the TV. The whole team gathered in the living room to watch the evening news, waiting for the coverage of the gala.
The scenes in the TV were changing, showing people dancing and having fun, focusing every once in a while on the team and zooming on them, together with a commentary.

It was a very calm, peaceful afternoon. Tony was leaning over the crib, watching his nearly one year old son napping. It was funny, because Peter somehow always insisted on sleeping with keeping his hands raised above his head, resembling a “give up” position. Peter had been growing fast and strong, had shiny brown hair, adorable nose and was a beautiful, chubby-cheeked baby boy.
Tony breathed in the scent of the baby powder and some other sweet smell. He never believed that, but babies had their own smell, which was sweet and soothing, and made Tony want to literally “eat him”. Since, he became a parent, he was learn

Tony was tossing in bed. It was late night and he couldn't sleep. He tried, but couldn't, thoughts burning in his head, setting panic in his stomach, and making his heart pound behind his light. It was torment, it really was..
Steve lay with a calm, worried face beside Tony, silently watching his husband. He couldn't sleep with Tony tossing around so much, but most importantly, he couldn't sleep, knowing that his loved one was in so much distress.
"Tony, calm down," Steve asked softly, worry and slight tired note coloring his words.
"I can't," Tony whimpered miserably, fidgeting more, his breath quickened. "I don't know how you can be that

Tony yawned, stretching on the couch. It was a rainy day, and rainy days always made him sleepy and overly lazy. He lay on the couch, stretching again, and thinking that maybe he could watch some TV or read something..
.. or play with his son, as he saw from the corner of his eye, his 5 year old boy trying to sneak on him, hiding behind armchairs and big potted plants.
Tony's lips twitched into a brief smile. He let the boy play, and started to hum some tune, faking being in his own world. Many times already he sneaked on his little boy when he was playing or drawing colorful doodles, lovingly attacking Peter with raspberries and scratchy k
